We are proud to announce that Benjamin Ridings has earned certification as a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law from the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.
Requirements for specialty certification in North Carolina include substantial involvement in the area of certification for a minimum of five years prior to application, extraordinary continuing education in the speciality area for three years prior to application, satisfactory peer review, and written examination. Speciality certification is an enormous undertaking, requiring years of planning and professional stamina.
Ben Ridings received his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2007, where he served as Articles and Comments Editor of the First Amendment Law Review and interned with The Honorable Robin E. Hudson of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Having joined the firm upon graduation, Ben is now a member of the firm practicing primarily in the areas of workers’ compensation and general civil litigation.
